More Broken Wall Steps

More broken plastic wall steps repaired today at a nationally known fitness center in Scottsdale. The indoor pool had cloudy water and the ambient light was dim so I don’t have any more pictures for now, I get to go back and take some follow up pictures soon. One of the things I noticed on all of these step repairs is that the step is always hollow when I dig it out of the wall. As you can see in the pictures of the step, front and back, is that it is hollow on the back side, the side inserted into the cavity of the wall. I don’t think I have ever seen one that was backfilled with cement, plaster or pebble material. I back fill them before I install, I think it makes them stronger.
